Real Purpose

About MUDNUG

Welcome

MUDNUG is a special interest group of MUACM.

Who We Are

The Mizzou .Net User Group is an association where university students are learning to develop software through hands-on experience and tailored seminars. Professional developers are also invited to come fine-tune their development skills and offer presentations. We are supported by businesses with real understanding of the related technologies as used in the real world. All our members are encouraged to share the understanding they have gained from their work in the past. In-person discussion and in-lab interaction facilitates our enthusiasm and understanding.

It is the goal of the Mizzou .Net User Group (MUDNUG) to support and increase interest in the Microsoft .Net Framework and the C# language by increasing access to .Net tools, knowledge, and resources.

Who is the intended audience?

We welcome any developer who wants a more comprehensive look at .NET. There are academic level participants (students) as well as professional developers that attend our meetings.

What is the cost to participate?

There is no membership fee. We do not plan on establishing membership dues or event fees for our group meetings. The funds to cover the cost of running the group come from group sponsors and donations.

When are meetings?

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month. This allows us to coordinate with other area user groups and avoid conflicts with local school activities. We meet the day before most MUACM meetings. Special events were held occasionally and listed on this website.

What is my role?

Your contribution can make this successful. Got a trick that you've learned that you can share? Sent it to us and we'll get it posted. At each meeting we will also look for volunteers who can accept a specific assignment to carry on the  general business of the organization.

What is .NET?

The Microsoft .NET Framework is a platform for building, deploying, and running Web Services and applications. It provides a highly productive, standards-based, multi-language environment for integrating existing investments with next-generation applications and services as well as the agility to solve the challenges of deployment and operation of large scale applications.

How do I get started?

Join us during our meetings. If you have questions, use the email link.

About matthew

Matthew recently graduated from the University of Missouri and is working with Dome Technologies. We build monolithic (one piece) concrete domes as water parks, auditoriums, churches and industrial storage systems. I'm creating software that provides an accurate estimate of the cost of building a dome, tracks the project progress, and provides historical and forecasted information about construction projects.
